INAUGURAL STATE CONVENTION WAS HELD NOVEMBER 19, 2011 IN WICHITA
The 2011 State Teenage Republican Convention was on Saturday November 19th all day in Wichita, KS. There they rallied against the addition of national debt by Congress and President Obama, protection of Life and the 2nd Amendment, against raising tuition, and the lack of jobs for youth. Much was accomplished that day with nearly 50 TARS from all across the Great State of Kansas. They adopted an official State Constitution where they then elected the Executive Board. After a long day of speeches and discussion of issues impacting our generation, they attended the formal Banquet and Dance where many elected officials, party officials, and candidates for office turned up. June of 2012 is when the next Convention will be held where it will be held in Topeka, Kansas.
